Dear donors, supporters and helpers

The regular commitment of volunteers and hardworking professionals on the site makes us very happy. We appreciate every donation and support, thank you very much!

Further training of the rescue crew

The exchange of experience with the mountain rescuers has now been going on for more than ten years. In January, the crew was further trained by Bruno Jelk and Beat Marti in various specialist areas, such as searching for people after avalanches, aerial firefighting and rescuing injured people with winches in the high mountains. Over all the years of know-how transfer, the team became much more professional and great friendships developed.

Slight changes in the construction planning

Building a health center in Nepal is a big challenge. It takes patience and flexibility to cope with various, sometimes unforeseen events.

Therefore, the fifth building of the facility, canteen/training will now be integrated differently into the terrain. This is a well thought-out and positive decision, as it means that the adjacent school buildings can remain in place for the time being.

The medical buildings are under roof

In order to better meet the construction schedule, the timeline was redrawn and it required an alignment in Nepalese management.

The four medical building units are now covered and intensive work is going on inside the buildings. Carpenters, electricians and sanitation specialists are at work.

To the side, the fifth, new block unit is being constructed and the surrounding area is being tuned.

To help in a sustainable and meaningful way, it takes a lot of passion and enthusiasm. Our team looks to the future with motivation and positivity, and is also always learning.

We are confident that our rural hospital in Khorlabesi, will be able to start operations in the fall of 2024.

Thanks to your donations and the well-rehearsed working group, this project should also be feasible. Thank you for believing in us!

Namaste und vielen Dank! Merci! Grazie! Thank you!
