December 2017

Valued donors, supporters and helpers

Our team is back from Nepal with new experiences, impressions and insights

The sustainability of our projects is very important to us, so we visit the settlements regularly and unfortunately realize that after the strong earthquake two years ago, many inhabitants still have to live in refuges and are not allowed to live in the desired normality.

The mission focused on providing medical care to the villages in the Gorkha district, led by Dr. Barbara Weith and Dr. Erwin Julen. Accompanied by the ten-man medical team from Nepal, consisting of translators, nurses and a dentist, great things were done again!

The opening ceremonies of the two school buildings in Hulchuk and Patalekharka were a great pleasure for us.

Finally, these children can complete their school lessons in a new and attractive building.

Such meaningful actions are only possible through trusting, financial support and with a lot of enthusiasm and passion.

Special thanks also to Paul Metzener and Käthi Flühmann. With competent advice and generous support, 15 houses for the needy in Patalekharka were built by residents.

The mountain rescue crew was trained in this stage, especially in the medical field, by our medical team on site, together with Vreni Julen, Nino Blumenthal and the flight instructor Oskar Gertsch.

A meaningful, sustainable vision, support through donations, clear goals and a lot of volunteer work will enable us to build another school building in the Gorkha region next year.

We are happy to provide you with more detailed information with pictures and reports on www.earth-c-air.com

In the sense of "deeds instead of words" we would like to express our sincere thanks and wish you a wonderful, contemplative Christmas!

Namaste und vielen Dank! Merci! Grazie! Thank you!
