Earth C Air is a Swiss non-profit organisation dedicated to the international transfer of knowledge in air rescue and mountain rescue. Together with local emergency services, Earth C Air provides practical training in helicopter rescue, alpine rescue and medical emergency operations, with the aim of establishing independent and sustainable rescue structures on the ground.
Following the 2015 earthquakes in Nepal, experienced helicopter pilots and mountain rescue specialists founded Earth C-Air with the aim of sharing their expertise in alpine air rescue. Today, the focus is on training in air rescue, health promotion, education, and prevention.
Training in
Air Rescue
A successful mountain rescue does not end with the operation itself. The medical care provided afterwards is crucial. That is why Earth C Air is strengthening local healthcare infrastructure in areas where rescue, transport and medical care work closely together.
Health Camps
We support air rescue through targeted knowledge transfer and practical training. Together with local partners, we train pilots, mountain rescuers and emergency services personnel to strengthen safety, efficiency and self-reliant rescue structures in the Himalayas and around the world in the long term.
Education &
Public Health
Through targeted education on health, hygiene and prevention, we strengthen local communities in the long term. In this way, we help to reduce risks at an early stage and improve access to medical care and rapid assistance in the Himalayas and around the world.

We are currently supporting, amongst other things, the expansion of medical infrastructure in Nepal, as well as training programmes for local emergency services.
