About us
Vision
We believe in a world where people, wherever they live, have access to professional air rescue and medical assistance. Through the sustainable transfer of knowledge, we empower local emergency services, establish self-sufficient rescue structures and promote safety, training and international cooperation worldwide.
Mission
Earth C Air provides practical expertise in air rescue, mountain rescue and medical care. Together with local partners, we train pilots, rescue workers and specialists, support projects on the ground and promote sustainable solutions for safe and efficient rescue systems in the Himalayas and around the world.
Founder
Behind Earth C Air are people who have dedicated their lives to air rescue, mountain rescue and helicopter flying. What unites them is the passion to share their experience and their knowledge in places where professional air rescue and safety need to be established on a sustainable basis.

How it all began
Earth C Air was founded on the basis of a long-standing friendship and collaboration between experienced helicopter pilots, mountain rescue specialists and leading figures in the rescue sector, who have dedicated their lives to mountain rescue, air rescue and aviation safety.
Even before the 2015 earthquakes in Nepal, Bruno Jelk, Gerold Biner and Daniel Brunner were already involved in developing training programmes and facilitating the transfer of expertise to local helicopter pilots and rescue teams in the Himalayas. From the outset, the aim was to pass on knowledge and experience and to strengthen local expertise in the long term.
Following the earthquakes in 2015, humanitarian aid was added to the training programme. Earth C Air eventually emerged from joint operations and close collaboration with local partners.

Our projects and areas of work
Training in
Air Rescue
A successful mountain rescue does not end with the operation itself. The medical care provided afterwards is crucial. That is why Earth C Air is strengthening local healthcare infrastructure in areas where rescue, transport and medical care work closely together.
Health &
Health Camps
We support air rescue through targeted knowledge transfer and practical training. Together with local partners, we train pilots, mountain rescuers and emergency services personnel to strengthen safety, efficiency and self-reliant rescue structures in the Himalayas and around the world in the long term.
Education &
Public Health
Through targeted education on health, hygiene and prevention, we strengthen local communities in the long term. In this way, we help to reduce risks at an early stage and improve access to medical care and rapid assistance in the Himalayas and around the world – for greater safety!
