Dear donors, supporters and volunteers,
With pride and satisfaction, our association can look back on 10 years of activity. During this time, we were able to hand over five school buildings and a hospital to the population and the government. In addition to education and medical care, the training of pilots, rescuers and ground crew was also very important to us.
Rescue
In January, Bruno Jelk travelled to Nepal to introduce the new Recco SAR avalanche detector. With this device, people equipped with the appropriate reflector can be located by helicopter in the outdoors or in an avalanche. Long-line training took place at the same time.
Health
From the opening of the health centre in Khorlabesi in November 2024 to April 2025, 1,649 patients were cared for. 175 people visited the dentist and 3 children were born in the hospital. This shows us how urgent medical care is in this region.
Education
We are very fortunate that Dänel has met and hired Dr Shermann. He is a very good doctor who has a great interest in a well-functioning hospital. He offers regular training for the staff. The introduction of telemedicine in the surrounding villages is very important to him.
Thanks to the good cooperation with the Earth C-Air team in Nepal, we are able to complete the work. We would like to thank all those who are committed to work together as a team, share our vision and help us to continue the work in the spirit of Dänel.
